Bergström has a charming tasting room outside of Newberg, down a winding almost-road that passes multiple vineyards. Their tasting room is a mix of wood and light, and utilize the wonderful big windows that I’ve seen in tasting rooms throughout Oregon.
Their pinot noirs are showing remarkably well for such a young vintage, and will get better with age. I bought a bottle of their 2011 Shea Vineyard Pinot Noir and was able to walk around their barrel storage area, which was connected to their tasting room and had some nice intimate seating.
