Adventures in Oregon – Camping at the coast

This is what it looks like.

We got campsite C29 at Beverly Beach State Park. It’s nice and close to the beach, with bathroom facilities and firepits. They sold logs and fire starters as well, which was perfect for some smores and hot dogs to enjoy with a beer.

If you go camping, be sure to put a tarp down under your tent since moisture seeps in. If we hadn’t put down a plastic tarp, we would have woken up slightly damp and unquestionably cold. We utilized sleeping pads under our sleeping bags and headlamps for midnight exploring (and late-night bathroom trips).
