There is a beyond-talented animator named Monty Oum, who first amazed me with a riveting 3-D animation series called Dead Fantasy. I don’t know the game characters that were part of the animation, but I knew they moved like air and fire, and I couldn’t stop watching. I’ve embedded the video at the bottom of this post, if you would like to see what got me hooked on him in the beginning.
Oum has also worked on a series called Red vs Blue, and most recently has begun a series with Rooster Teeth called RWBY, pronounced “ruby,” with one letter for each of the main characters of the show, nicknamed; red, white, black and yellow. I have no doubt the anime will be engrossing, but the stand-alone trailers are what truly impressed me. Take a look below and you will understand what I mean.
