Carlton’s Walk in the Park – yum!

Although it wasn’t as well-attended as I expected it to be, I’m definitely pleased with my decision to spend $15 to check out some great food, wine and hard cider!

The two stand out beverages of the evening were Wildaire Cellars (2010 Reserve Pinot Noir is amazing) and Carlton Cyderworks (try their new Asian Pear cider). The foodie winner of the evening came in the form of lamb gyros from Nick’s Italian Cafe–a dish they don’t normally carry in their restaurant, but they do have many other yummy things there.

The highlight of the event was the finale marching band based in Portland, March Fourth! Check out some videos of their performances here.
