If you weren’t already a fan of katsu, you will be after trying the food at Yabu: House of Katsu. They serve the softest chicken I’ve ever had, and real chicken that’s softer than “chicken” nuggets tastes like magic to me. There is also unlimited miso soup, picked veggies (the daikon is my fav), fluffy Japanese rice and cabbage salad. It’s an interactive dining experience, from grinding sesame seeds and mixing your own sauce, to the manga-esque art on the walls. Try different combinations of the sauces to find your favorite!
Tip: Split an order with a friend. There are lots of delicious refillables, and it’s easy to get full on the meat alone.
