Sonya’s Garden, Tagaytay

Tagaytay is one of my favorite places to visit if I have some time and gas in my tank. I’m happy to take the 2 hour car ride (although I’m still hesitant to drive there) mostly for the fresh food and beautiful gardens at Sonya’s Garden.

The restaurant serves all-you-can-eat food in a beautiful garden setting. They grow their own salad greens and make the bread on-site. A long time ago, a meal there cost 250PHP, but currently it’s 683PHP. Although it’s gotten expensive, it’s still worth it for those who crave fresh, healthy fare and a scenic place to dine.

First course: Salad

Second course: Bread with spreads

Main course: Self-served (formerly table-delivered) pasta and garnishes

Dessert: Tea, banana rolls, sweet potatoes and chocolate cake
