This is a fictional press release written for practice. The flower store exists, but the prices and details have been spun from my imagination and longing for the world’s best cup of coffee.
MCMINNVILLE, Ore. — You wouldn’t expect to find world class coffee in a flower shop, it is precisely where the world’s greatest cup of coffee has been discovered. Incahoots artfully serves ‘The Linfield Blend,’ named after the hoardes of Linfield College students who raid the small town flower store every morning for a cup of coffee.
“I’ve never tasted anything like it, sometimes I pick up on hazelnuts and other times it’s cocoa,” Linfield senior, Alexia Petroupolos said. “I come here every morning to get The Linfield Blend before class, and sometimes on the weekends too.”
The coffee beans are grown locally in Oregon, then blended in a secret combination for rich flavor, smooth texture and heady aroma. The Linfield Blend costs $2.95 per 16oz, and comes in hot and cold options. Guests can also choose to add peppermint flavor for an extra $0.25.
